Toys and Games

For heritage sites and museums we have a selection of toys and games that can be played by the public from Medieval through to Victorian times.

Learn the rules of Kubb or Nine Men’s Morris; bilboquet or Battledore and shuttlecock; shoveha’penny or croquet and a myriad of other games. BUT be careful as some of them can become quite addictive so be warned!

In schools we can offer a Key Stage 1 unit of Toys where we encourage the use of vocabulary to compare old and new toys and the children can then experience playing with toys from the past.
